Peran Alam Dalam Arsitektur Permukiman Tradisional Bali

Konsep permukiman Tradisonal Bali, memiliki aturan dan masih dipertahankan hingga saat ini. Bali sendiri memiliki dua tipe desa adat, yaitu desa adat Bali Aga dan desa adat Bali Daratan. Kedua desa tersebut sama-sama memegang perinsip Tri Hita Karana yaitu keseimbangan manusia dengan alam. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif pada dua desa adat untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peran alam dalam permukiman tersebut. Hal yang dikaji adalah tata ruang, bangunan dan material serta tuang luar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kedua desa adat yaitu Desa Adat Tenganan dan Desa Adat Panglipuran, melibatkan alam dalam wujud permukiamannya. Diamana peran alam tersebut dapat meningkatkan kenayaman serta mencapai keseimbangan hidup.
